    We are a non-profit organization designed to help others with the fight against Breast Cancer, Aids and other life threatening diseases.  We are committed to help, so that no one ever gives up their determination to thrive to survive. We want to create hope, faith, and the strength to continue surviving by believing in the Hope 4 Lives now, and well into the future, for generations to come.

We will donate 100% from each event or fundrasier.

Hope 4 Lives will be hosting the 3^rd Annual Rockin Rabbit Half Marathon and 5K on April 07, 2012.  Hope 4 Lives is a 100% nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of local Nevadans with life threatening illnesses.  Runners, walkers and everyone in-between are welcomed to team with Hope 4 Lives and participate in either the half marathon or 5k to raise funds to help improve the life of others. One such life is that of Jaxon, a ten year old boy who has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of Anaplastic Midulloblastom, a cancerous brain tumor located on the cerebellum (the base of the brain). 100% of the proceeds from the Rockin Rabbit Half Marathon and 5K will go to assist Jaxon’s family and other families in providing them with the treatment they desperately need in defeating one of the most challenging pediatric tumors. 

We all run and/or walk for different reasons and no matter the reason, we are out there together sharing in an experience and pushing along to meet whatever goal we have set for ourselves.  This is a great opportunity to not only continue in the pursuit of our own goals, but a chance to help others in the goal of beating cancer. Join the Fight with Hope 4 Lives by participating in this year’s Rockin Rabbit Half Marathon and 5k as we work together to improve the quality of ours and others lives!

The Marathon will begin at Railroad Pass Casino on the River Mountain Loop Trail with an amazing view of Lake Mead and run through the Historic Rail Tunnels.

All Runners will park at the Hacienda Hotel and Casino like last year. We will offer shuttle service to the starting line for the 1/2 marathoners. If you have someone dropping you off, please let them know they can drop you off at Railroad Pass Casino, then they can park at the Hacienda Hotel and Casino.

Families who are in need of help!

Jaxon is 10 years old and was diagnosed with Anaplastic Medulloblastoma, Brain Tumor (Cancer) Jaxon was scheduled immediately for surgery to remove the tumor, which was located on the cerebellum, the lower base of the brain.

Although significant strides have been made in diagnosing and treating these tumors, Medulloblastoma tumors remain one of the most challenging pediatric tumors. Jaxon’s specific type of tumor is also very aggressive.

Kassidy was diagnosed on May 19, 2011 with inoperable brian stem tumor. With Standard treatment, chemo or radiation, Kassidy has less than 1% chance of surviving more than 5 years.
